September 2009

I haven't been writing for the past months . Too much things to do and Time management has been very important with my business.

There has been too much going on around, traveling, learning a few things here and there.

Connecting to people from my old town. It is good to be home, somehow.

My son loves it, He will have to stay for a month to bond with his grand ma and grand pa who misses him so much.

I never forget to forgive everyday and not relying on my senses. Forgiveness has to be everyday to follow your Shepherd's voice.

IF i am to say and sum up everyday on september....

" JESUS SUSTAINS ME!"

May my heart be as blessed as
Our Mother's Heart
Her complete obedience to God's will.

Faith is not necessary when you know how things are going to work out, - that's knowledge. It's in the time of unknowing that having faith is what sees you through to the other side. Faith is what gives you strength. Faith is that light in your heart that keeps on shining even when it's all darkness outside. Now is the time to keep that faith alive!

Jesus , YOU are the only one We need.

The Magnificat and the Prophesy...

F rom henceforth all generations shall call me blessed!

In the scripture reading, referred to in the Liturgy, as the magnificat (Luke 1:46-55), Mary (Mother of Jesus Christ), prophesied that from that time on all generations would call her blessed, despite many professing Christians choosing not to use this particular title, i.e. Blessed Virgin Mary, throughout the last two thousand years...
that prophecy has still been fulfilled!

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. He hath showed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy; As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
Luke 1:46-55

The Great Exchange...

The other details, included in this prophecy, relate to the future subject of The Great Exchange, where the injustices of this present evil age will be redressed...

* The Lord showing the strength of his arm...
* The proud being scattered...
* The mighty being put down...
* The lowly being exalted...
* The hungry filled with good things...
* The rich sent away empty...
* Israel remembered in mercy.

Here we have one of the most beautiful proclamation of the love of God in the entire New Testament! Mary, under the influence of the Holy Spirit, prays this song or canticle which has come to be known as the Magnificat. ( Named, I believe, for the Latin meaning of the first line regarding the greatness or magnificence of God)

Mary, humble servant of God, sings of the great works God does for the lowly, for the hungry, for the servant. This is another call from Mary to practice humility.

Then Mary in the fourth line states that, “all generations shall call me blessed”. How do we reconcile this with her humility? Mary, like the prophets of the Old Testament, is prophesying. She is speaking a prophecy for the times to come. When all the generations call her blessed, she is not being glorified, but God is being glorified in her. She speaks not of herself, but of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit each of whom she is intimately related.

And Mary’s prophecy has been fulfilled! The Catholic church, the Orthodox Churches, and indeed all Christianity recognizes her importance, her blesssedness, in the story of Salvation.

God the Father, we thank you Lord for sending us Mary, who brings us closer to our final goal, Your son Jesus! Amen.

Mary’s prophecy,
gives us hope in great degree,
Thank God for Mary!

One country is caught by the SNARE....and it'll be a domino effect to the world.... many who have prayed for his candidacy but God has perfect plan for the world. No matter how the world will try to defy it. It has always and has been " Thy will be done."

Let us pray for all our leaders, We may be too little in the eyes of some men, even calling us "catholic / religious nuts" but all words will come to pass except for the promise and the word of God.

Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the world.
Matthew 5:5

The start of the DARK era

In some scene years ago in chat, I often hear about fellow christians trying to argue with a lot of things, especially about the bible and how it was interpreted. " The Christians" in the truest sense of the word. "Christians" all denominations that had believed on Christ's resurrection and as being the son of God.

Every time there is a debate like this, I have learned to not take it personally, And i go on doing my thing instead, trying to follow what is good. What is good? i would say being a follower of "Christ's work" and doing it passionately is whom i call the true Christians, no matter what denomations they belong.
It is really LOVE that moves me and how a person delivers it to his/her own life.
Meekness & courage of the heart to love without human gratification.

Difficult. but it is achievable. How? ..... a Christian will find out how.
Each one of us has a different way of converting our mind, heart and soul. Individually , We are what we are , and so God works with us according to how we take HIM in.
Some are fast learners , some are just too tight and too afraid , some are just complacent. Some just rely too much on their intelligence that in the end up doing and saying stupid things... I need not say a lot of things, So i wouldn't judge people by their actions. I leave it to the higher beings to do that.

I am like anyone , a sinner , a searcher very imperfect.

but reading most of what's happening to the world today had made me think...
Could this be an era where Christians gather and instead of displaying their self made righteouness, that they fight this battle against abortion?
Indeed no matter how i watch President's obama's platform on abortion. My conscious mind and my heart, SAYS it doesn't feel right, nor doesn't equal to being right. No equation will bring me to say , Yes, He is right.

I have given him the benefit of the doubt , even if my heart says , " no need to watch it" My mind had to be satisfied on hearing him, just to hear what he has to say.
I feel a certain shame, hearing him speak , as if he revealed his true self - the core of his values. He is nothing different. He is just another politician who wants power and he wants to have a taste of it while it lasts and I feel Americans didn't have any choice but to put their bets on him as their ultimate HOPE .

After hearing his stimulus plan, I sighed. Nothing is really new, just newly constructed phrases.
New voice , new hope? I wish.
God Bless America! ( praying)

Posting this and i absolutely agree with Rev. Piper.

My favorite reminder of the month:

"Like a moth in clothing, sorrow gnaws at the human heart" Prov. 25:20. Sadness is a sure path to defeat. If ever we feel our heart attacked by sadness, let us examine the quality of our love and see where we really have placed our heart. Probably in ourselves.

May Feelings II Video

Three Trees.

F or those of you who dream I say: dream high and your dreams will fall short because God, who is a better dreamer, dreams about you. Believe!

This is a well known story you might want to read or re-read again just in case you forgot its moral.

"Once upon a time there were three trees on a hill in the woods. They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the first tree said, "Someday I hope to be a treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems. I could be decorated with intricate carving and everyone would see the beauty."

Then the second tree said, "Someday I will be a mighty ship. I will take kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of the world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull."

Finally the third tree said, "I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the hill and look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time and people will always remember me."

After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of woodsmen came upon the trees. When one came to the first tree he said, "This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter," and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because he knew that the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest.

At the second tree the woodsman said, "This looks like a strong tree, I should be able to sell it to the shipyard." The second tree was happy because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship.

When the woodsmen came upon the third tree, the tree was frightened because he knew that if they cut him down his dreams would not come true.

One of the woodsmen said, "I don't need anything special from my tree, I'll take this one," and he cut it down.

When the first tree arrived at the carpenters, he was made into a feed box for animals. He was then placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not at all what he had prayed for The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end. The third tree was cut into large pieces and left alone in the dark.

The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams. Then one day, a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birth and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree.

The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do. The tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time.

Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water, a great storm arose and the tree didn't think it was strong enough to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and He stood and said "Peace" and the storm stopped . At this time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat.

Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the streets as the people mocked the man who was carrying it. When they came to a stop, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the top of a hill. When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as was possible, because Jesus had been crucified on it."

So the moral of this story folks is that when things don't seem to be going your way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in Him, He will give you great gifts. Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined. We don't always know what God's plans are for us. We just know that His ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best. Now, do you remember what I said at the top of this page? How God's dreams are richer than yours? So dream, keep dreaming high but remember that he will always beat you at that because He is a better dreamer when dreaming about you. Thanks God!
