D o you know that when someone else is praying for you with all his honesty and pure heart , God listens to you more , The prayer for a friend, a son, a mother or any person whom you feel has an immediate need for it, Is better heard than praying for your own needs?
Yes, I have seen it happen lately. I will probably talk about it when i got more time for blogging.
Something about our family's dilemma and It only took a sincere pure heart then the answer came along on the last 2 minutes. GOD IS JUST AMAZING! I get the goosebumps every time i remember this. ( Jan 22,2009) I had made some research about this, When God is more passionate to your prayers when you pray for other people. Took me awhile to get all the answers but it made sense. God wants us to love Period. When we pay attention more to our needs and wants ,we tend to be selfish and self centered and sometimes greedy. Ego centered prayers, the "me- me- me- mine- mine- " prayers.
God doesn't like greedy people since HE is a very generous God and God wants us to give whenever we can, It is only in giving that we practice one of his law which is "TO LOVE". :)
You can actually give without loving but you can never love when you do not give.
Reading books about love without practice is useless and quoting and telling friends by word of mouth is useless if you do not show it. It is easy to show love when everything is happy and convenient but would you be able to show love even when it is the hardiest?
It IS only when we try not to be selfish and put the needs of the others first before ours than we can say we have practiced it. There is more to life than your own sufferings. It is like when you give off your precious time or something very intimate which is your care and putting aside your need temporarily because someone needs you more or that someone needs the prayer more than you do...it is the only time that you begin to live as a true christian. (imitating christ , for the purpose of loving his work and gratitude over the cross) Unlike the fakeychristians - the immitation of the originals..,who failed to even love their neighbors.(LOL)
It is a process, I told my friend Norma, the other day that , Do not be afraid to go to the process, It may not be a famous road to go...but you are sure of a lasting and enduring supply of grace and one of them is peace.
God didn't promise money or material convenience ( don't expect to win the lottery either)but HE did promise a good life and lasting peace of the heart.
We all know we will never reach the perfection while we are still alive , but wouldn't it be nice and rewarding if you get to taste that place where you can be at peace, not with any person but a divine spirit. It is unexplainable, Those who hasn't experience it will never know or have an idea what i am talking about...Some would even say i am delusional, that i am only making it up. Honestly, it doesn't bother me anymore, Those comments are not meant to hurt me but because " that experience" i was talking about is something which not everyone can have UNLESS you thirst for it. Your hunger should be very deep for you to see how sumptuous your meal was. It isn't because those whom have experience it are angels or holy, NO. a big NO. It is because one has to surrender the wisdom of the world so one can embrace the transformation. Yes, it is a transformation. One can not experience Not because you lack knowledge , not because you are unholy or not because you are not good enough it is because you do not long for it, do you know that even curiosity and acting up on it sends a spark to God's heart ?
Wouldn't it be a better world if everyone doesn't just pray for his own very needs but prays sincerely for the other...more like "praying it forward" i am praying for you and you pray for me and domino effect. Don't you think this would be a less selfish world?
I will soon be posting some readings for my dear friend Norma. How can i refuse a good friend's
request. Faraway friends are God's blessings and thank God for the internet. :)
